Club Policies

Welcome to Pickle Social Club! Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, social, and fun environment for every player and guest. All guests are expected to follow these policies and the reasonable instructions of Pickle Social Club team members.

ATTIRE & FOOTWEAR

Appropriate athletic attire is required while playing. All players must wear a top and bottom at all times.

Non-marking athletic shoes are required on the courts. Court or tennis shoes are highly recommended.

Flip-flops, sandals, open-toe shoes, heels, boots, and other inappropriate footwear are not permitted for court play.

Clothing or accessories that create a safety hazard or could damage the courts may not be worn during play. In addition, inappropriate or offensive clothing or accessories may result in removal under staff discretion.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

No food/beverage is permitted on the courts.

Beverages must be kept in designated areas or appropriate closed containers outside of the courts.

Glass containers are strictly prohibited on the courts.

Please clean up after yourself and dispose of trash in designated receptacles.

Outside alcohol is prohibited.

Alcohol purchased at Pickle Social Club must remain within the bar and lounge area only.

ALCOHOL & SUBSTANCE USE

Alcohol may only be purchased or consumed by guests 21 years of age or older.

Guests should not participate in play while impaired by alcohol, cannabis, illegal drugs, or any other substance that affects their ability to play safely.

Pickle Social Club reserves the right to discontinue alcohol service or court participation when necessary for guest or facility safety.

PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS

  • Pets are not permitted inside the facility.

  • Service animals trained to perform tasks for individuals with disabilities are permitted in accordance with applicable law.

  • Service animals must remain under their handler's control at all times.

PERSONAL SPEAKERS & MUSIC

  • Personal speakers and amplified music are not permitted unless approved by Pickle Social Club.

  • Facility music and volume are controlled by Pickle Social Club team members; however, music requests may be made to staff.

FIREARMS & WEAPONS

  • Firearms and other weapons are prohibited on Pickle Social Club premises to the extent permitted by applicable law.

SOLICITATION & PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITY

  • Unauthorized solicitation, sales, distribution of promotional materials, advertising, demonstrations, coaching, or commercial activity is prohibited on Pickle Social Club property.

  • Outside vendors, instructors, coaches, organizations, or businesses must receive prior approval from Pickle Social Club management before conducting promotional or commercial activity.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Guests 16 years of age and older may participate in general club play and non-adult-only events without an accompanying adult, subject to event-specific rules.

  • Guests under 16 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult unless participating in an approved supervised program.

  • Certain leagues, events, programs, or areas may have additional age requirements.

  • Guests under 21 may not purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.

COURT SAFETY

  • Play within your abilities and be aware of players around you.

  • Do not enter another court while play is in progress.

  • If a ball rolls onto another court, do not run onto the active court to retrieve it. Alert the players and wait until play stops.

  • Do not sit, hang, lean, or place excessive weight on nets or other court equipment.

  • Bags, clothing, drinks, and personal belongings must remain outside active playing areas.

  • Immediately report spills, damaged equipment, injuries, or unsafe conditions to a team member.

  • In the event of an injury or emergency, stop play and notify a Pickle Social Club team member.

COURT ETIQUETTE

  • Respect scheduled court times, reservations, open-play sessions, leagues, lessons, and events.

  • Vacate your court promptly when your scheduled time ends.

  • Do not use an unassigned court without permission.

  • During open play, follow the posted rotation or format established by Pickle Social Club.

  • Be considerate of waiting players and help keep games moving.

Code of Conduct

Respect & Inclusivity

  • Treat players, guests, team members, instructors, and visitors with courtesy and respect.

  • Harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, threatening behavior, or unwanted inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.

Sportsmanship

  • Play fairly and follow the rules established for the game, event, or program.

  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship whether you win or lose.

  • Respect calls made by other players and handle disagreements appropriately.

  • Cheating, deliberate interference, excessive arguing, aggressive behavior, paddle throwing, or other unsportsmanlike conduct is prohibited.

  • Competitive play is encouraged. Disrespectful behavior is not.

Communication

  • Communicate respectfully with players, guests, and team members. Disagreements should be handled calmly and constructively.

  • Threatening, abusive, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, or excessively offensive language or behavior will not be tolerated.

Respect the Facility

Treat the courts, paddles, balls, nets, furniture, restrooms, bar/lounge areas, and all other Pickle Social Club property with care.

Photography & Privacy

  • Photography and video for normal personal use are permitted unless otherwise posted. Please be respectful when photographing or recording other guests. Verbal consent for photographing others is encouraged.

  • Commercial photography, organized filming, or promotional content requires prior approval from PickleSocial Club management.

Follow Team Member Instructions

Guests must follow reasonable instructions from Pickle Social Club team members regarding safety, court assignments, facility operations, alcohol service, events, and club policies.4

Pickle Social Club reserves the right to refuse play, discontinue participation, or ask a guest to leave for unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or repeated violations of club policies.
